App installed itself?

I installed the Onavo Count app on my iPhone 3GS last night, and then when I checked my iPhone 5 (logged in with same iTunes account) this morning, Onavo Count had been installed on that too, even though I didn't install it??

Do apps sync between devices if you have the same iTunes account on them?

When you add a second device to an existing account, I think that's the default behavior. But you can change it in prefs.

The thing is, I didn't sync it with iTunes. It was just plugged into it's charger but without iTunes ever opened.

If you have automatic downloads turned on, then I believe that's the usual behavior.
