[All iPads] Ditching the 4 for mini - Page 2

Just shipped my mini and 3rd gen. off this morning. The mini felt like a compromise to me. I think Apple could have produced a better product than what was delivered. The mini in my opinion is lazy and half-baked. iPad 4, here I come.

issue was theres already an iphone, and the mini isnt significantly better than an iphone. the screen is too small to give a full web experience.

The 10" is a great tradeoff between full web experience and portabiliy (vs. a laptop..)

I roll with iPhone, iPad and 15" laptop.

I'm keeping BOTH my 3 and the Mini, but I expect to be using the Mini the most. I think its the perfect size / weight for me. And unlike some others, I do not think the screen resolution is an issue at all. I'm 47, wear glasses and the screen on the Mini is perfectly usable to me.

Even without a retina display the Mini is a hit!

Depends on what you are doing. iPad is 100% consumption for me.

I will be using the iPad 4 to do a lot of reading so even though its heavier and bulkier, the reading experience is more important to me.
