[Price Advice] Been offered £500 for my 2008 base spec mac pro

Is this a fair price, mac2sell suggests £600, but I never know if they're a little low/high/whatever.

I guess I'd be OK with £500 but just wondering if it's worth holding out for something like £600 given how tricky it is to sell these machines, certainly at base spec.

It all depends on how bad you want to get rid of it and how firm you are on that 600. I personally would accept that. The US version version of the basic was $999 and I believe I would have got $400-$500 worth of use out of that device over four years. You can't expect too much because them people will figure they would be better off buying new then spending that amount for it. It is all depends on how attached to if you are.
