Plugging New Macbook Pro into Older TV
Hey all, have a pretty easy question that I probably should know the answer to but oh well. Just wondering how I plug my 2012 Macbook Pro into my older TV (no hdmi.)
Do I just need the mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter and a VGA cable? That simple? Thanks so much |

If your TV has VGA input, yes.

You'll also need to connect the audio. Use a 3.5mm lead from your Mac's Audio Out to the TV's Audio In(assuming it has one).
