ROFL, don't know that
Happy that I run OSX :p
Going back to the reason of crash , never put 2 AV on OS and yes W8 have an AV installed so to install a new one you need to disable that service.

The big LOL is that microsoft bought AVG :D

Bought the tech. Fortunately worked on their own drivers. AVG drivers have always been rubbish.

Windows 8 as it is is hilariously secure anyway, so the importance of AV is arguable. As long as you don't go on dodgy sites, of course. But among the top ten current security vulnerability list, MS is nowhere to be seen, whereas Apple makes two appearances with Bonjour and QuickTime.

Have fun with OSX.

Thanks guys a lot for your help. I found the Microsoft one in the control panel, it seems fine, and no need for an additional one to be installed :D

Thanks
