Despite some people's criticisms of the two newest films, the Craig Bond movies are my favorites, right after Goldeneye (and that might just be nostalgic bias).

Looking forward to this one!

Goldeneye will always be sth. special because of the awesome N64 game, for those who played it back then.

Didn't like the last Bond too much though but the first one with Craig was stunning - even with lot of friends being gutted by missing an english gentleman killer.

Canada, Eh?
After watching some classic Bond's, I realize that many famous actors starred in those movies. Christopher Walken(A view to a kill) and Rowan Atkinson(Octopussy) was there

Pardon me, I'm a mid 90's kid

So, 'Skyfall' by Adele debuted today.

I think it's kind of 'eh' but I'll wait until I see it used in conjunction with the opening credits.

In early 2011 they picked a targeted U.S. release date of November 9, 2012. So guess when it will open? November 9, 2012!

With Sky airing all the Bond movies on their dedicated 007 channel I've had the chance to watch some old favourites again.

Looking forward to Skyfall. Casino Royale is one of my favourite Bond films and to an extent I liked Quantum of Solace as a regular action movie. It's not a traditional Bond but nonetheless quite solid.

Definitely looking forward to it, although not sure how I feel about Adele doing the theme song...

I liked Daniel Craig as bond and hope he does resign another contract if they do more movies. Would like to see Jon Hamm try out for the part, he's got the handsome, cool, calm and collected look but it would be interesting to see him in an action movie.

Skyfall opens here in a few days.

So it was quite a surprising coincidence when I noticed my Subaru's odometer as I arrived home on Sunday! (No, I don't drive an Aston Martin DB5.)

Rotate my mileage one digit to the right and it becomes 007 007! :)

I don't know about this casting.

No one beats Roger Moore btw :D He wasn't all fake Mr. Macho hairy chested like Connery. For Your Eyes Only was da best. Theme song by Sheena Easton , cars. Man, no comparison.

In saying that, does anyone know what happened? I think he must have had some really bad plastic surgery?

No, it's just that physically, Roger Moore didn't age well. If you watch his last 2 Bond movies, you can see how much he aged between them.

As far as Skyfall goes, I am going to see it Friday Night. It just sucks that the movie theaters in my area don't participate in Passbook ticketing...

Roger Moore was one of the actors considered for the original Bond role, until Albert Broccoli and Harry Saltzman decided to go with a lesser known actor named Sean Connery. And the rest is history.

Started a Bond marathon a few weeks ago from the first movie leading to seeing Skyfall. Currently on Goldeneye, hoping to finish them all by the weekend and see Skyfall.

Roger Moore was definitely an awesome Bond, but not so much in his last few films. He didn't age well unfortunately lol.

Kind of pains me to see how illogical the "bad" guys are in all of the movies. They keep trying to kill Bond in creative ways that end up failing, no one seems to want to just shoot him point blank

If only those bad guys watched the Bond marathon with you. Then they might realize their mistake. Or at least realize they shouldn't tell Bond all about their evil plan before letting him escape!

Ahah I think I crossed the threshold of applicable logic in action movies :p

Also I'm hoping to see a "darker" Bond in the future, maybe if Nolan directs it may happen

Darker than Connery in Dr. No??

He shot Prof. Dent when Dent's gun was empty, then shot him twice more in the back when he was on the floor.

Now that is nasty. :D

Good thing the bad guys didn't do the same, but the Ian Fleming novels would have stopped after 20 or so pages, and I would not have read them all. ;)

I love bond films. Can't wait to see the new one. If I had to say though I think my favorite bond is pierce.
