Black iPhone 5 with silver back and edges?
http://www.macmixing.com/wp-content/...831-091902.jpg
Anyone know if there's a mod kit for this? Would one of these custom shops do this, assuming they have the parts? What would be the cost for something like this? |

This would be cool to see. Also would be nice to have this as a skin.

If you used a chemical to take off the black anodizing and then polished the aluminum, this is what you would get. I thought about it the day I got the new phone, but dont have the balls to do it. Maybe once the novelity of how new and good it looks wears off, or I get a few nice chips or scratches, I will start looking into the process and actually give it a shot.

There is this:

If you have a white iPhone, you can get little stickers for the top and bottom glass to make it look like that...

That's actually a prototype white iPhone 5. Supposedly an early prototype with white front panel and untinted metal backing (seen on the white iPhone) but with black glass at the top and bottom.

I'd love for my black iPhone to have the silver/polished sides. That's the one draw the white version has for me.
