Retina Support in Lightroom 4.3 Release Candidate

http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjour...available.html

Retina support (aka: HiDPI) is now available in the Develop module of the Lightroom 4.3 release candidate.

And there was much rejoicing.

Yesss! I'm so happy. Downloading it now which is taking forever but I'm excited to run the update later tonight.

Wonder if they will bring retina support to the whole app, rather than just the develop module.

Eventually, yes. Tom Hogarty (Lightroom Product Manager at Adobe) said over on Twitter that HiDPI support will only initially available in the Develop module and that overall support in Lr is not yet final. They seem to be tackling the most important parts first.

He also said HiDPI support isn't in the ACR 7.3 release candidate, for those so inclined.
