I have a jailbroken ipad 3 on 5.1.1
Is there anyway at the moment to do a complete restore but stay on 5.1.1 so i can re jailbreak it

Check the Dev team blog for details especially #2 (no OTA updatesand some factory 5.1.1 won't work)

Remember to check that you have 5.1.1 SHSH blob and a 4.x SHSH blob.

Both are needed, the 5.1.1 blob is required for the restore. And the 4.x SHSH blob is needed, because if something happens, you might end up with no way of restoring to 5.1.1 again without going from 4.x and then to 5.1.1 again.

If you end up with a half restored device, (example that the IPSW file is corrupt, you chose the wrong file, power is cut, you pulled the cord to early, you did something else wrong or a bug) you cant restore to 5.1.1 without restoring to 4.x first.
