Mine have moved to Preparing for Shipment (along with the 2 free smart covers), however, they still show delivery as Nov. 21st.

Mine is prepared for shipment, delivers 21st still. Ordered the 26th at 7:34am.

It has been my experience on these mass shipments in the past that Apple ships immediately as CC is billed. It often takes time for for the paper trail to catch up. I predict that during the night tonight and in the morning you will see the emails and updates appear. By the time you see that the shipment will have left China, cleared Hong Kong and be enroute to Alaska. We will see a Friday delivery.

I called earlier today regarding the 5 day shipping and requesting expedited as I've received on all my other apple pre-order products. Rep couldn't do it, even when I offered to pay. I agree that sometimes the events are out of sync with the paper trail, but generally once it has actually shipped you can track by reference at UPS or FedEx's website using your billing phone number as the ref. number, and that isn't working for me so far.

Anyone able to track by reference yet?

Been charged, preparing for shipment, now it's hurry up and wait some more.

I ordered a white 64gb AT&T LTE about 6am PDT the first day.

Order status just changed to "preparing for shipment, delivers Nov 21 by std shipping" but no CC has been charged and it doesn't show up on my Apple support page.

When I called a week ago to see about expedited shipping or having it shipped to an Apple Store they CS rep told me not to worry as it would be delivered on Nov 15.

Ordered AT&T 16GB iPad Mini white on Saturday 11/03 in the morning.
I got a fraud alert from my credit card company noon today and I knew the status has changed.
Now it shows prepared for shipment with delivery by 11/21 by 4:30pm.

Ordered minutes after they went on sale on the 26th. I used the Apple Store app, so my order was done before the web site was open.

Today my CC was charged, status changed to "Preparing for shipment". Estimated delivery is 11/21.

Exact same thing happened to me. I was surprised to see that this morning. I ordered the black 32gb Verizon version. The email from apple says it delivers on the 16th but the actual tracking number says the 15th.
