Can't say too much, but we're still missing critical pieces so it's not releasable right now. Believe me, we'd love to release it asap.

I don't know whether to feel optimistic or sad.

I believe I've seen enough banter about JB's on twitter from the major players to conclude things are indeed trending towards a valid exploit allowing JB for non-devs.

But, does that mean it's anywhere near being ready for prime time? Hah, doubt it.

Still, people are working on it, without a doubt.

even when they get a exploit working it's a whole different stage to get the jailbreak to work by simply running redsn0w or any jailbreak tool.. even if a hacker was to say success you still be looking at probably several weeks even months. there is allot of work these hackers do to get us our jailbreaks.
