connect MBP to 8 TV's, problem with weak signal

For a low budget theatre-art project
I need to connect my MBP (2.3GHz,10.6.8) to 8 old TV's.
I already have a converter ( company LIGAWO) that translates the signal from the mDP to VGA into analog video signal (cinch).
However the signal is not very strong. Connecting more than 3 TV's destroys the image quality too much.
Any advice? Are there suitable signal enhancers? Or is the initial signal already not strong enough?

Are there videocards for MBP available, that I might be able to use instead of the converter?
