Verizon question
Is it possible to port back to verizon on the same plan I had months ago ? Had unlimited data at that time.

If you switched from unlimited to a tiered plan - unlimited is gone forever - unless you are still within the phone return period and return the new phone - that is the only way I think you can get unlimited back.

No, if you come back to Verizon then you'll be seen as a new customer and therefore the current plans are your only option. Unlimited is gone for good. Sorry

this user claims he switched from his UDP to a tiered and was able to call and get it back
highly unlikely you will get it back (zero chance if you switched carriers) http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1490098 |

I am not sure about Verizon but a little over month ago I left AT&T (with unlimited data) and switched to Verizon. When I got no reception with Verizon inside my house I called AT&T and they told me that if I came back within 60 days they HAD to offer me the exact same plan as I was before I left. He made it sound like they had no choice. So if it a law thing (again not sure) then if you have been gone for less than 60 days you can try calling and asking. Either way it won't hurt to call them and ask.
