Hi,

I've just done a bootable USB with DiskWarrior dividing the drive in 3 partitions, for the PowerPC and the Intel startup and 1 for the DVD

I tested on my MBP with SL on it, booted from the drive perfectly, rebuilt and repaired permitions fine

then I tried to boot from my rMBP and it get stuck, as soon as I choose the DVD option after a restart it get stuck on a tinier then usual apple logo on a grey screen

does anybody know what could be the problem? thanks very much for the help

Mountain Lion requires your disk to be partitioned as GUID to boot, which means that you can't boot PowerPC from it.

The OS on the USB boot device does not have the drivers necessary for the rMBP. It will be a while until Diskwarrior releases a suitable version; check their site for updates.
