To those who received there iPad LTE models.

I have a question on FedEx scans, What is next after CHENGDU CN
is it HK and then US?

Looking at FlightAware if my be heading on flight to Anchorage, AK in less then an hour

Yup looks like we missed the Friday cut off and they held it to Monday
before shipping.

According to Google Flight Tracker, FDX16 just landed at MEM about 30 mins ago:

Departure ANC 1:09am (scheduled 1:15am) —
Anchorage Nov 20
Arrival MEM 9:53am (scheduled 10:05am) —
Memphis Nov 20

if it can get on a flight from MEM to PHL within the next 2-4 hours, it will then get to PHL by the late afternoon / early evening. that means it will come tomorrow. it'll be tight, since it still has to go through a major sorting at MEM

now let's hope that Apple followed through with those payoffs to Customs (i mean, donated iPads) and that i'll be on a flight to PHL or EWR by 3pm.

i have a feeling there is a lot of pressure from Apple to get these delivered before Thanksgiving

totally agree, i think US Customs does not care they just let Apple stuff pass
and Apple gets taxed for it. Apple send them all documentation electronically
so they know what is coming in ahead of time.

oh ok. yeah then yours will come into EWR. mine also might come into EWR and be trucked down to Philadelphia. FedEx does both with regards to Philly, i think it depends on the method of shipment

Whats the situation in the States right now then if you walk into an Apple store and ask to buy a cellular ipad mini?....do they just laugh at you or are they available to buy?....

Where are they all right now?...there must be a million of them somewhere?....none in the UK or even Europe.

You might be right looks like no flight to EWR till tomorrow.

So i called FedEx they said its still in customs and could clear soon,
if it does then the guy told me Delivered tomorrow.
IF not then back to Friday.

I think it will be leaving around 5 or 6 pm to EWR, just
need to get that FedEx flight number.
