The easiest way to upgrade from Leopard to Mountain Lion?
I am terrible at keeping on top of this upgrade stuff and I have been happily running OS 10.5.8 for a number of years now. Only recently have I found that some software and a few programmes I have tried to download are no longer compatible with my OS.
What is the most straightforward way for me to upgrade from where I am now 'Leopard' to where I want to be, Mountain Lion' or at least on to an OS that will allow me to use my computer? If I have to upgrade to Snow Leopard and Lion first, where do I get them? I can't find Snow Leopard on the app store. My computer is an iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz running OS 10.5.8. Thanks |

The only official way to get Snow Leopard now is to call AppleCare. Once you install Snow Leopard and run all the updates, you can purchase Mountain Lion from the App Store.

Ok thanks for that. I thought as much, I just wanted a second opinion.
