Staples Black Friday MacBook Pro

Staples Canada has the current 13" base model MacBook Pro on sale for $999, $200 off regular price.

Thoughts? My 2008 BlackBook is getting a little long in the tooth.
 
$1000 bucks for a current base model is pretty hard to pass up.

Take that $200 you save and put it towards upgraded ram and a SSD down the road and you have a pretty sweet unit.

What did you end up with? I grabbed the 13" MacBook Pro. Here's Achilles next to Prometheus, my retired 2008 black MacBook.

Prometheus still works great, but I couldn't turn down the deal. The Minister of Finance (my wife) approved the acquisition.

Nice🙂 I got the Air for $1011. It's back over $1,100 now.
