Thought id try and bring some life into this sub forum. Just curious as to what OS everyone is running on their touch. I'm running iOS 6 on my slate/black 32gb 5th gen. Bought it to replace an old, 8gb 2nd gen I bought about 3 years ago. Man what an upgrade.

I'm not the person to ask that question since my phone is broken and I'm getting a new one in a month. :p

Aside from the "broken" part of my phone (the sound), it seems to working pretty well. There's no imminent need to upgrade if your current OS is working just fine for you, though.

You should add a poll to this thread! :)

I'm running 6.0.1 on my amazing 5th generation iPod touch.

iOS 5.1.1 on my iPod touch 4th gen and iPad 1st gen. Nothing about iOS 6 really interests me enough to upgrade the former and I can't upgrade the latter.

Same. iOS6 is more of a downgrade on touch 4g with even lower free RAM available.

iOS 6 would probably be for those who bought the new 5th generation iPod Touch and maybe some upgraders using the 4th gen.

For me, my white 32GB 4th gen is sticking with iOS 5.1.1 forever. No apparent need to update to iOS 6 since I don't use the features.

4.2.1 on my 4th gen. I like it better than iOS 6 because I like the look of the old music app better.
