Didn't know they had White Castles in Missouri.
If made properly, it is delicious!
I can't say if there is a single or regional origin for this delicacy. I grew up in Maryland, Chesapeake Bay area. As a kid, my parents used to buy oysters by the gallon can. It looked like a plain paint can with a top. If made properly, it is delicious!
