Room for 12.5mm drive in 2010 Mac Mini?
Does anyone know if there is room for a 12.5mm thick HDD in the 2010 Mac Mini Server? I'm bored with the lack of space on the SSD 128 and sold it. I have a 7200 RPM 750gb new Seagate that I didn't realize was the thicker size.
When I put the SSD in the space, I had a LOT of wiggle room. Wondering if I can shove this HDD in there or if I need to get a thinner 9mm drive.

Hey thanks, you are the master of the Mini, dude, thank you so much. WHere do I have to dremel?
Can you believe I'm bored with the SSD speed bump on the Mini? Need the space more. The 16gbs of ram sure helps, too.

there was a how to do it. I will look for link. I can't find one. I did find a link about pulling the dvd player and fitting a 12.5mm in its place on 123mm. I think this may have been what I was thinking about.

Make a note guys. It fits even better than the slimmer than 9mm Samsung SSD. Never had an optical drive on this machine, it is the 2010 server. Oh, and this 750gb 7200rpm drive? VERY VERY FAST. Faster than the 500gb 7200 drives OEM.
