unclear from apple site,
will the new iMac will be available on Friday around the globe?
or just in California ?
Also they say order the 27 in November and get it in December, I wonder if apple familiar with the world calenders where November end on Friday and Saturday is already December, so does it mean immediate shipping ????

Seeing as America is the only good country these days, they'll either wait a few months before they let all the poor people over the pond have it, or just stop selling these things in Europe/Asia. I think that's the way apple is going IMHO

Isn't it Friday already down there? :)

0837 30 Nov EDST in Australia and still not available in online store. Spoke to Apple rep a moment ago and still maintains available in November, although he spoke in some very non committal words. And he was in the USA! Just said to keep an eye on the web site. Going to be a long day...

Edit: Looking like it will be a US time release

You're joking... Right? (No offence to anyone)

None of the international Apple sites I've been looking at has gone down for maintenance... :(

It's now 11am in New Zealand, however I believe I'm right in saying there are no Apple stores there, only resellers...

It's now 9am in Sydney, nothing happening on the website. The Apple Stores in Sydney opened at 8am. Seems everyone is still asleep...

I wonder what is going on in apple store in Sydney?
If you happen to enter one of them , is the imac on display and ready to buy?

Doubt it

They probably have stock but the online part has to go up first so most likely tomorrow

I've just been to chadstone Melbourne store since I couldn't get through on the phone, they have prepared a table for the new iMacs but they have the old models on display atm, I asked and they said they should have them in sometime today.

I just called the Apple retail store here in New Hampshire (USA). The Mac specialist I spoke to says they new iMacs have NOT arrived at the store yet, and she isn't sure what they will get for tomorrow. She's hoping for a 21.5" model for display at a minimum. This was at 8:30 PM EST; the store closes at 9 PM. She suggested that I call tomorrow at opening time (10 AM) to see what has arrived at that time.
