Hi

I have all of my iTunes music and media on an external hard drive connected via USB and I play music, then lets say I pause a song. Hard drive goes to sleep, I come back and press play but it forgets the song and just cancels the playing song.

So how can I handle this? Do I need to keep my hard drive awake? Is this is a bug with iTunes?

I don't know what to do so I hope you can help me out, thanks.

In your system preferences go to energy saver and untick the "put hard drives to sleep when possible"
See if that changes anything
