Something special for Windows 8?

Okay, I know this is probably not happening, but should we perhaps take the delay in official Windows 8 drivers to mean that there's special stuff to come in them? What I had in mind especially was expanded multitouch support (given the quality of the trackpad, a Boot Camped Mac has the potential to be the best Windows 8 machine on the market).

I wouldn't hold your breath. Apple won't spend time developing drivers for a product they don't sell.

They're developing drivers for their Macs... which is a product they sell a lot of.

Indeed. Plus I can imagine the Magic Trackpad potentially being a major seller in the Windows 8 market given good drivers.
