iPod Touch 5G battery life.

I was wonder what y'all battery life is like. Cos mines only averages around 6 hours of usage on medium brightness with 10 hours of standby.

My usually last about 8 hours, but today I managed to kill it after an hour of asphalt 7

Like a hour of two of Subways Surf and maybe like 3 hours of music and bluetooth is off. Occasionally i would go on Safari but most of the time im not connected to wifi.

Theres also a slight problem with it. My iPod never charges up to 100 percent. It goes up to like 95 and gets stuck there. If you want it to go up to 100, you'll have to pull the cord out and plug it back in and it instantly goes up to 100.

The battery life seems like a problem to me. I would stop by an Apple store and have them look at it.

Not sure if its the heavily modified backup or a actual hardware problem.

I got 44 hours of audio last week, not using the screen much, wi-fi and bluetooth off, music a mix of aac, mp3 and ALAC.

No. Not normal at all.

Go to Settings and check for things that might be draining the battery in the background, such as Bluetooth and various notifications. Turn them off.

If you still go to 0 after 2-3 days then I would take it to be checked.

Took it off the charger this morning and after listening to music, texting, twitter and a decent amount of web browsing I'm at around 45%

Usage:
5 hours 18 minutes of usage
11 hours and 10 minutes of standby.

I've managed to squeeze around 8 and a half to 9 hours of usage before.

Yes, I use TalkaTone with G-Voice on my iPT5 as my only phone. I call the IPT5 my "Wi-Phone", like "Why (a) Phone?" or "Wi-Fi Phone". I am really enjoying all the money I've been saving!
