Asked the same question to jahoys, but how do you get a blank screen? I used to do that with my iPhone, but gave up because iOS would rearrange everything to fill the blank homescreen every time I rebooted the phone.

i just dragged all my folders/apps to the next page. i like the clean/minimalist look.
before, when you rebooted, it all went back to the first page. not anymore. maybe a change in iOS 6?

Thanks for the reply; I've not tried it in a while. Love the minimalist look as well.

I notice that a lot of you don't have 6 icons in the dock
Is it because you don't think it looks good or you don't know you can fit 6 apps on there ?
