iPhone & iTunes problem

I have NEVER plugged my iphone into my macbook and connected to iTunes.

But now I want to plug it and copy over some ringtones.

However, I plug my phone in and I get the option to

"Set up as new phone" or "restore from backup from 15/08/12"

I presume this is a back up of my girlfriends phone.

So am I stuck?

Can I never plug my phone into iTunes and copy over content?

I don't want to lose everything, and I definitely don't want to restore a 4 month old back up of my girlfriends phone.

Thumbs up Little app company

Check out iRip (by little apps) this will copy your music and hopefully your ringtones to iTunes for you.
