Best product for more usb ports for an iMac

I want to purchase some sort of external USB port device to put into my iMac so I have more usb ports. Any suggestions?

You can purchased powered USB 2 or USB 3 hubs that take up one port on the iMac and give you 4 to 10 or more....depending on the hub design. My wife has a Trendnet 4 port USB 3 hub on her rMBP and it works just fine. Look in the Apple store accessories for USB hubs.
