Album View Question

I upgraded to iTunes 11 over the weekend on my MacBook and so far have enjoyed most of the overhaul. I like what Apple has done with its 'Album View' versus it old cover flow.

My question / problem is after it plays a song it stays on the same Album as oppose to following whats currently playing. I know I can click the drop down and have it take me there. It would be nice when I switch over to iTunes to see what currently is playing in this view like you do under the Songs Tab - I keep my iTunes running most of the day at work. Is there a setting I missed that will do this or is it something that I should hope to see corrected in a update down the road?
