Hi all

this will be my first mac and i will need to install office for mac - have thousnds of offices files that i will need to transfer from windows machine - now they have elimanated the ODD..is there a way of installing office without having to buy an external drive??

or would apple pre install for me??

You could buy and download it from Microsoft here, as Apple no longer seems to offer MS Office to be preinstalled, they prefer to sell your iWork applications.
