Hi,

I own a MacBook and now I bought myself a fantastic iMac.
I used Dropbox on my Mac before to have all the stuff with me(especially for college etc.). I created local folders and linked them with macdropany.

My question is how can I do the same on my new iMac?
I think I have to do it the other way round. Sync dropbox and then create symbolic links to those folders i want in my home folder, or is there a better solution(especially to avoid the dropbox checkmarks)

If you install Dropbox on both Macs, then what's in your Dropbox folder should be the same on both Macs. If you add a file on your MacBook, then once it's uploaded, you see it on your iMac.
