When your 27" iMac arrives, what is the first thing you will do?

What is the first thing you will do after your iMac arrives? (Besides plugging it in).

I got it completely maxed out, so I am going to run fcp x and motion 5 doing as much as I can (my current computer is a base model early 2009 iMac. It's practically useless). I'm also going to run The Sims 3 at full graphics, something which I've never been close to being able to do without serious lag.

Put it under the christmas tree and wait until xmas or xmas eve to open it. it's my gift to myself, and having it on christmas just feels like it will be fun!

It will be introduced to the family, of course! I'll set it on Great Grandpa 7500/100 's lap, then do a meet and greet with Grandpa 8600/200, then off to see it's siblings, the 2007 White MB, then it's sister 2010 MB Air.

The proud mommy is a 2004 17" iMac G4 (Pod), and daddy is a Gen1 iPad. It seems a fitting child of the two of them...always wondered what she was carrying in that pod

5) Install 32GB of RAM
6) Plug in
7) Boot up
8) Time Machine everything over to the iMac. I would love to connect it via FW800 but Apple removed it from the iMac.

Perhaps Gigabit Ethernet would be faster than USB 3?

I will boot it up then do my pixel/screen analysis. I also decided to reinstall all my programs fresh instead of time machine from my old old Mac. This should be challenging since I didn't get a SuperDrive. I will install from the network and Internet. Fun times

Gigabit maxes out right at 120MB/s, USB3 is supposed to be 5X as fast but you would need an external SSD to read/write faster than Gigabit.
