Cotton or Microfiber sheets?

If you were choosing between 500 thread count egyptian cotton and 1600 thread count egyptian microfiber sheets what would you choose? I am replacing my super comfy 800 thread count egyptian cotton sheets if I get the microfiber I just hope they can breathe as well as the cotton. thanks
 
And yes, yet another strong vote for cotton.

For comfort and ease, and quality of sleep, nothing, but nothing compares with cotton.
