Google Maps for iOS Now Live in App Store

"This item is temporary unavailable"

After it has been enough time that it won't be the top downloaded app in the app store maybe?
 
I got it.

Tutorial:
1. Search google maps
2. Open google earth
3. Scroll down to developer and click on it
4. Scroll to the very bottom and google maps will be there
5. Successfully install
 
Yay, I can download iOS 6 on my phone. Public transit options are still there. First impression from my 5 second glance after downloading it are good so far.

By the way, couldn't find it through search in the Australian apple store, but the link on this article worked.

Like I predicted, we now have Apple Maps with turn by turn and Google Maps that are better than the app from iOS 5. All thanks to Apple kicking out the old stock Maps app, and due to competition.

Are all the people who were bitching all this time going to say they're sorry and admit they were wrong? Don't think so.
 
Those people who are successfully downloading it, say where you are from.

In Boston (US Store). Cannot download. Says unavailable. 11:29p EST
