Question Macbook Air for school. 11 vs 13

Firstly I know, I know. Their have been many threads on this topic but my situation is slightly different.

Early this year I decided to set off on a Hackintosh project, thinking i'd be gaming a lot and doing a lot of powerful tasks. It was really handy for a couple of big projects, but it frankly isn't as stable as i'd like it to be. So i'll sell it sometime soon to buy a Air. I've read over numerous threads and tried both (sizes) out in stores and I can't decide which to choose. So reluctantly (because of the amount of threads on this topic) I decided to write this post and gauge opinion from the friendly forum folks!

My workflow is pretty basic most of the time. As standard I always have Reminders and Twitter on my desktop and EVERYTHING else running in fullscreen. So I usually have...
  • Safari 6 (nothing too intense, articles, Facebook, YouTube etc.)
  • iTunes 11
  • Mail
  • Notes
  • Messages

This is what I spend 90% of my computing time doing. I tried out both machines in stores by opening a few documents and webpages to compare screens (full screen of course). The screens both seemed very similar and the extra real estate didn't seem like THAT big of a deal. From what I saw web browsing would be the most troublesome thing, what's your opinion?

For the past few years i've happily been using a 17' 1280x1024 screen and i've had no issues. Just to point out, the SD card reader is kinda pointless for me, but the battery life in the 13' may be useful. I'd take this to school everyday for note-taking. This would be my only machine and in terms of power it's fine.

If anyone owns an 11' Air and was willing to waste time to help me could you please post a screenshot of Safari fullscreen-ed on or or to give me an example of what i'll be dealing with?

In the store the 13' really did seem a lot bigger and considering i'd be carrying it around with me all the time it's a big factor

Thanks for any opinions!
