Is that a tablet with phone capabilities or a phone with a tablet sized screen? Is a 10" screen device that can call/text a phablet? What about 8.9"? 7"?

If they wanted to confuse the meaning of the term "tablet," then it seems they're succeeding.

That size would put it firmly into tablet territory. Even if true, I doubt it would replace the 5.5". I only want two things out of the note 3: improved screen resolution and the ability to move apps to sd. Leave the rest alone and it's an automatic buy for me.

That said, I hope Samsung goes for it. Ignore the peanut gallery and let the market decide what it wants.

I will be definitely be buying the Note 3 if it also comes with a larger stock battery to maintain or improve the already good battery life. I want the larger screen that I can still pocket and 6.3 inches will be awesome.

While I'm not a fan of "large" phones/phablets, I think 6.3" is overkill. I can barely understand 5".

Samsung is making distinct devices in each range. They should have a Galaxy S line that stays sub-5", a Note line that stays sub-6" and a Note X (I guess?) line that stays sub-7".

That would make sense to me. If each line bleeds into the size-range of the other, that'll be confusing.

And in my opinion have better specs on their Galaxy S Mini line and keep that below 4.4".

That would make sense, but isn't the Galaxy S4 slated to have a 5 inch screen? Seems the manufacturing process is only allowing for 5" 1080 displays at this point.

Samsung manufactures its own displays, it can do things others can't since it is in much better shape than Sharp or LG.

I thought it was 4.99" and people were essentially calling it a 5 inch screen to keep things simple.

If the S series goes over 5" eventually, I guess they don't share the same ideas I do.

I don't know how big your pockets are, but 6.3" is a ridiculous size for a phone. Frankly, if the thing is going to cover the entire half of my face then I don't want it.

They already have the S3 at 4.8 to cover the 4"-5" market. Then the Note 2 to cover the 5"-6" market.

Leave the 6"+ market to the tablets...
