Safari problem

Hi,

Not very sure if this has been bought up before but I find this annoying when opening a new Safari window or tab

On opening a Safari window or tab the cursor goes straight to the address bar. I would prefer it to be in the search box.

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere ? I find it really annoying as I don't always know the website address I want to go to and prefer to do a google search first.

I'm using a 3rd gen ipad with ios6

Any help is appreciated - thanks

When I open a new tab in Safari the cursor goes to the search box. I'm on iOS 5.1.1
I looked under the Settings App and didn't find a way to change this default.
