iTunes: Annoying Sign In Pop-Ups
Every time I launch iTunes, a box pops up that says:

As soon as I do, another box pops up that says: Quote:
Is there a way to stop these boxes from appearing? Why would sign in be required to use iTunes to access music on my computer? It seems like a pushy way of trying to get users to allow Apple to snoop. |

1) Look for purchased content that hasn't downloaded yet (Store->Check for Available Downloads) 2) Look for updates to apps you've purchased for iOS In order to do either of those, it must have your AppleID and password to verify you are who you say you are. I don't think Apple is "snooping" so much as trying to a) keep you up to date, b) making sure they take care in security. |

Go to:
-> Preferences -> Store -> Uncheck Automatic Downloads for the different sections -> Uncheck "Always Check for Available Downloads" -> Uncheck "Automatically download pre-orders when available" |
