Mac can no longer write on External Drive

I have a MacBook Air (with OS x 10.7.4) and yesterday it stopped reading my External Drive (Seagate Free Agent GoFlex). When I bought my mac I downloaded a NTFS mounter and it worked perfectly for 3 months but it stopped working yesterday and I do not know why. I try downloading other mounters but I still can't write on my HD. Any suggestions on what I can do? I really need this HD for uni.

(I was updating the software when it stopped working but my mac didn't install the updates because it found an error (?) maybe that's the reason it stopped working?)

Have you tried the ntfs drive on any other computers? Specifically windows machines?

Have you tried Paragon?

Unfortunately I don't have a PC I can use at home. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to use one.

That is the one I was originally using until it stopped working.

Which version? I've never had problems with it, and it has the most reliable reputation of any of the NTFS solutions.

Well, My version is 9.0.1 And it worked like a charm. That is why I was surprised I couldn't copy files into my HD
