27" Delivery time thread.

Unfortunately there are still a lot of 11/30 orders that have not moved beyond the processing phase yet
I wonder if the order delay, for those that ordered on the 30th, is related to the individual BTO specification and parts supply constraints. Though, it could be the apple supply chain is overwhelmed.
Yes I picked it up from the depot yesterday, I didn't risk waiting for delivery, I rang TNT first thing and asked them to call me when it was in, they rang about lunch time so I popped down and picked my baby up##

I ordered a standard spec and mine only changed to preparing for shipment this morning. My friend ordered BTO about an hour after me and his was shipped yesterday.
I'm one of those in the Nov. 30th class and i have a theory: somehow our iMac orders are being processed next door in Taiwan China, as most of us know, is in dispute over it's territory and independence. Therefore, they (China) are refusing to process these few remaining & lonely BTO's. Just thrown it out there.No apparent rhyme or reason....my order has a delivery window of 28 December to 4 January; if there is no change in my status soon maybe they will build the iMac on the flight over. Hope those FedEx people are versatile
I just wanted to poke in here to say the patience will pay off guys all iMacs I've come across have been near flawless. Good luck

Mine was ordered on the 30th. I hope it does not sit in Kentucky for long.
I ordered at 12:00 noon on the 30th.

)I'm getting totally worried. I work in North Dallas. Yesterday, when my package was still in Louisville, I called Apple and had them change my delivery address to my office (because I was expecting it next week when I am off but it is a week early). Apple changed the address, and my delivery said it would be here on Wednesday.
Last night it arrived at DFW Airport and now today it is "Out for Delivery." The problem is, it says it is in Denton, which is near my house in McKinney--not near my office in North Dallas.
So, it looks like the address change didn't get to UPS in time and they are going to attempt to deliver it to my house. It's a good thing I didn't pre-sign for delivery.
Now I will have to wait another day. #firstworldproblems (I just dissed myself)

My BTO just changed to "preparing to ship". I was in the 3-4 week to ship range with an estimated delivery of Dec 31 -Jan 7. I ordered very late (8pm PST) 11/30. Since that was well after business hours I figure that's basically the same as a 12/1 order.

Poo - it's 11 pm in Shanghai and I'm still preparing for shipping, so it probably won't go out until morning in China.
