Old Excel file
Hi,
Would like to transfer an old Excel 1.0 file to something readable on Excel, Numbers or whatever open source Office. Created in 1989. It's a light document, with only basic information, and no calculation. Thanks, Pachou |

Have you tried Microsoft's own (ancient) advice: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290772

I'd try the advice above. If that doesn't work try seeing if OpenOffice or LibreOffice (both free downloads) can open the file. You should then be able to use one of those programs to save as a new Excel version format.
