iPhone sound
I need advice on what needs to be done when no sounds is coming out of the iPhone? To be precise, I am not able to hear the ringtones or the message tone

First thing to check is the little sliding switch...By default it is set to "Mute" (disable) sounds. Try moving the slider and see if you get the sound back.

If the problem persists it sounds like you could require a speaker replacement.

Turn mute button off. Go to settings verify sounds are selected. Turn volume up. Hard reset-hold home and sleep button down until you see apple logo. If that doesn't work restore as new. If that doesn't work go to Apple store-make apt. first.

iPhone 5 has ringtones but not text tone
I think there is a problem here.. My speaker works when I select a ringtone or text tone I here it fine.. It is just when I receive a text there is no sound or vibration... What's up?
