Even if you buy RAM of higher clock rate than standard, the RAM will run at the rate which the motherboard is designed to accept, here it would seem 1333MHZ ..

The Motherboard can accept 1600MHz, his problem is that he's mixing RAM with different speeds. If you do that the Motherboard defaults to the lowest speed (1333MHz) in order to accommodate.
