Help I pad won't turn on!

I picked up my iPad to do some shopping when it won't turn on.. I tried pressing both the home and hibernate key for 10sec and even longer and nothing! I even hooked it up on the PC and It was read by iTunes but it still didn't turn on. I press the buttons again several times and could hear the camera clicking as if I'm taking pictures of the screen. I can also hear the battery trying to charge it when I hook it to the charger but I s get a blank screen!! Please help!
