Happy holidays!

So, I may be getting an iPad 4 from my mom for Christmas, and it's my first iPad. I've wanted one for awhile, but just couldn't afford it with school, and everything else going on in my life at the current moment.

So, what are some good starter iPad-native applications for me to try out?

I'm not the biggest mobile gamer (I prefer a good 'ol console, or even my iMac), but I may game a little more on the iPad, since I found my iPhone hard to game on for extended periods. I'm a casual gamer, although games like Infinity Blade II look intriguing. But, I want to know if it's worth the $6.99...

So, what are your suggestions for good starter iPad apps? I'll make a list, and be sure to try them out on Christmas day.

Merry christmas! (Don't drink too much eggnog...;))

Infinity Blade is bound to have a price drop around Christmas, I suggest the game as well as waiting until the price drops

Not a game, but CalWizard is a very cool calendar app. It does some nifty calculations and date searches.

Thank you for the huge list! A huge list of apps is EXACTLY what I wanted! :D

(Now, if more people would share more huge lists of apps, I'd be elated!)

I'll be sure to use this on Tuesday morning.

Again, happy holidays everybody! :p
