Hello all. In short, just started browsing the forums once i purchased my
Ipad4 (32GB). I have somewhat of a dilemma on what to do. I purchaed a new ipad4 because my dell laptop went down. I had no real reason to purchase another laptop because all i do is browse internet, email, etc.

I have an ipad now, but was thinking of purchasing a mac laptop to use in order to sync my itunes with and also to use features such as iCloud, iTunes Match, etc.

If all i will be using my mac for is to sync itunes, icloud, etc and for other minor things, what should I look into getting?

Would an older macbook be sufficient or should I go ahead and get a macbook pro? Im looking to spend somewhere around $300 give or take. I have seen some on craigslist and ebay for that price.

Any advice or suggestions on what i should do? Or should i just purchase a cheap acer netbook or something similar?

thanks

Make sure you get a 2009+ model if you want to run Mountain Lion. Easiest way to tell is they don't have the Intel video. None of the black ones can run Mountain Lion.

The 13" MacBook Pro has a much better screen.
