iPad mini Minis at the Apple Store in SoCal?

Has anyone had any luck walking into an Apple store in SoCal and finding a Mini , particularly a 16 gb version? No one is answering phone at the store and online 'pickup at store' is not available. Was wondering if it's worth a trip. Do the stores get shipments each day and thus stock is constantly changing?
 
It seems like Mission Viejo always has a few in stock, but I am not sure which capacities they have available... You can always do the in store pickup thing where you place your order after 10 pm and go and pick it up 🙂
