I much prefer this one too. The water line being lower down and the tower giving more scale to it works well.

Stopped on the way home tonight to grab this. 18 second exposure. Added a little graduated filter to bump up the shadows at the bottom.

Comments always appreciated. (As usual, I am new to all this, learning as I go. Trial and error)

A local Steampunk group was out doing a charity fundraiser today. Photo opportunities were abundant.

Santa came early this year... I got a (preowned) Canon 85mm f/1.2L today... the lens is ridiculous in every way... DOF, weight, size of front element, price... you name it!

I don't do people shots normally, but I liked this one. Taken yesterday at a local produce market, this is a stall-holder looking after a friends cockatiel.

Killer, indeed. Wow, that's just insane!! (in a good way )

I have to ask...what lens(es) are you using for those wide-angle shots?

Is it me or does there seem to be a lot of green fringing around the Canon logo?

I leave the exif info on all my shots, so you can check it whenever you want to in preview (tools, show inspector). I just have the kit lens that goes down to 18mm at this point.
