How to update iPhone apps using iTunes 11?

Why is that I can no longer see the button to download app updates for my iPhone on iTunes 11? There used to be a button on the bottom right of the Apps page underneath the iPhone Device page, but it is no longer there?

Call me crazy but I've always seen that button (i.e "N Updates Available") on the Library sub-panel in the Sidebar, Apps item.
Of course, I re-enabled the Sidebar on iTunes 11 via the View menu.
