Does the 27" Cinema Display have the same problems as 24"?

I currently have the 24" LED Cinema Display hooked up to my Mac Pro. It will randomly shut off and flicker on me once in awhile and it's very annoying. I tried installing the latest firmware but it didn't resolve the random blackouts. I am using a 10ft Mini display extension since my Mac Pro is down on the floor at the end of my desk. I've been thinking about upgrading to the 27" display. Does the 27 exhibit the same flickering and blackout problems as the old 24 when an extension cable is used? Anyone know?

Have not heard of that problem. After Christmas morning we will have two ATDs up and running. Will report how they turn out.

I'm using extensions for all mine and haven't had an issue in 2 years

Never had that problem with my 27" LED, but it could simply be down to a dodgy extension cable?

My 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display will go dark once a day for about 1-2 seconds. Does it with both the built-in cable and an Apple Thunderbolt cable, so I do not believe it is a cabling issue.
