"Sessions could not be started" Error - Unable to Back-up

I've read dozens of posts with the same problem as me yet no solution.
I don't know what caused this but it happened with my iPhone 4 and my iPhone 5. I've literally never been able to back-up my iPhone 5 because this **** keeps happening.
Any time I try and back-up I get this error and nothing found through google has helped.
I'm on Mac 10.7 with the latest iTunes.

I usually only use my desktop for my iPhone but I plugged my iPhone into my laptop and was able to back-up without a problem.
So something on my desktop is causing the problem :S

I little discovery. I had my devices checked to sync over wifi and that worked. But plugging them into teh PC gives this error. When I unchecked sync over wifi, the dvices backed up with no issues plugged in to the PC. Some sort of issue when you have sync over wifi checked and then plug the device in to the computer. Some sort of confusion by the device i guess.

I wish this were the case, however I've never had sync over wi-fi checked and I even checked it, sync'd, and unchecked it and sync'd again and still can't backup 🙁
